This section allows you to choose various Downloads module related settings for the Staff CP.
Display Downloads Tab: This setting allows you to enable/disable the display of the Downloads tab in Staff CP.
Support Center Downloads Settings
This section allows you to choose the settings related to the Downloads module for the Client Support Center index page.
Display Downloads Widget: This option if disabled will not display the downloads widget in the Client Support Center. Using this feature you can disable the downloads section.
Display Popular Files Quick Box: Setting if enabled will display the Popular Files Quick Box in the Client Support Center index page.
Maximum Number of Files to Display in Popular Files Quick Box: Specify the maximum number of files the software should display under the Popular Files box if enabled.
Display Total Download Count in Popular Files Quick Box: This setting if enabled, the software shall then display the total download count of the displayed Popular Files.
Display Latest Files Quick Box on Index Page: This setting shall display the Latest Files Quick Box in the Client Support Center index page. This box shall display a list of the latest Downloads files added in the system.
Maximum Number of Files to Display in Latest Files Quick Box: Specify the maximum number of files the software should display under the Latest Files box.
Display Creation Date in the Latest Files Quick Box: The software shall display the date on which the files displayed under the Latest Files Quick Box were added in the system, if this setting is enabled.
Creation Date Format: This setting allows you to configure the display type for the creation date for the Latest Files section. The software uses the date() PHP function to display the date. For more information refer to the date() functions page.
Support Center Category Index Settings
This section allows you to choose the settings related to the Downloads module for the Client Support Center Category index page.
Override Category Display Order Field: This option allows to you to choose the display order in which the Categories should be sorted in the Client Support Center. If Default Display Order is selected, the software shall display the Categories in the display order specified when they were created.
Category Order of Display: This setting allows you to choose the display order for the Categories. By default the categories are displayed in the Ascending order.
Override Download Items Display Order Field: This option allows to you to choose the display order in which the Download Items should be sorted in the Client Support Center. If Default Display Order is selected, the software shall display the items in the display order specified when they were created.
Download Items Order of Display: This setting allows you to choose the display order for the Categories. By default the categories are displayed in the Ascending order.
Item Limit under Sub Categories: Specify the maximum number of Download Items the software should display under the sub-category list.
Display More Items Link: This setting if enabled, will display a ‘more items’ link under the sub-category list.
Display Item Description in List: This setting if enabled, the software shall display a brief description of the Download Item displayed in the list.
Character Limit for Item Description: Specify the number of characters of the Download Item description should the software display.
This section allows you to configure the RSS settings related to the Downloads module.
Enable RSS Interface for Downloads: This setting allows you to enable/disable the RSS Feed for the Downloads under a specific category to which a client can subscribe to.
Link Directly to File Download: This setting if enabled, the software shall point the RSS Link directly to File Download. If disabled, the software shall then point the link to the File View Page.
Once you have set the option according to your choice, click on the Update Settings tab to save the changes.
